Tracee is a broadcaster, journalist and executive producer turned educator, with 30 years’ experience at the highest level in Australian and international radio and television.
Tracee’s broadcasting career included high-profile roles as a broadcaster and journalist at ABC outlets including TripleJ, ABC NewsRadio and the 7.30 Report, as well as Channel 7, Channel 9, SBS World News and ABC Sunday Arts. She is also a former Opinion Columnist for the Saturday Age, writing extensively about politics, environment, social justice and popular culture issues and worked internationally as a broadcast journalist for the ABC’s Asia/Pacific service for many years with a solid understanding of regional geopolitics.
Tracee has extensive experience in arts and media leadership and governance roles and has served as Board Director of 3RRR.FM, Music Victoria and Toorak College. She is the author of the Australian music anthology Your Name’s on the Door and is currently Head of Journalism at the Australian College of Arts
