Wendy is a communications specialist with three decades of local and international experience.
Wendy worked as a journalist with Australia’s biggest media companies, including as Food Editor for the Sunday Herald Sun and reviewer for 3AW and Gourmet Traveller. She also runs her own online publishing and content business specialising in food and hospitality, working with key players in restaurants, entertainment, tourism and major events.
A natural communicator, Wendy has a unique skillset of designing, building, implementing and measuring successful engagement programs to align with business objectives. She taps into her extensive network of top chefs, food writers and online influencers to create conversations and encourage the right people to keep talking.
Wendy has built engagement strategies for some of Australia’s biggest food brands, including De Bortoli Wine, CAPI, and Cobram Estate Olive Oil, and gives back as an ambassador for food rescue charity FareShare, which cooks more than a million meals a year for Melburnians in need.
